2. Family Member Upgrade

  • Members may choose to upgrade their subscription to include eligible family members. Family members will only be activated once the required sign-on sheet has been completed and submitted to TruMD.

3. Accuracy of Information

  • Members are responsible for providing accurate and complete information for themselves and any family members added to the subscription. TruMD and Workshop17 will not be responsible for delays in activation caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

4. Consent to Process Information

  • By completing the sign-on process, the member consents to TruMD and Workshop17 processing the information provided for purposes of registration, service activation, healthcare access, reporting, and billing.

  • All personal and health information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including POPIA.

5. Activation of Services

  • Access to TruMD services will only be activated once the member’s details have been received, verified, and loaded onto the TruMD system. Activation timelines may depend on the completeness of the information submitted.

6. Package Selection

  • Members are responsible for selecting the correct package. The package selected will determine the services available to the member and any family members added.

7. Medication Benefit

  • Medication benefits depend on the package selected.

8. Clinical Assessment

  • All medical advice, prescriptions, referrals, and treatment recommendations are subject to a consultation and the professional clinical assessment of a TruMD healthcare practitioner.

  • TruMD does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed after every consultation.

9. Use of Monthly Datasheet for Billing

  • TruMD will submit a monthly datasheet to Workshop17 confirming the number of active members, upgraded members, family members added, selected packages, and applicable billing amounts.

  • This datasheet will be used for invoicing and billing reconciliation between TruMD and Workshop17.

10. Billing Responsibility

  • Where a member chooses to upgrade or add family members, the additional cost will be billed in accordance with the package selected and the billing arrangement agreed between TruMD, Workshop17, and/or the member.

11. Changes and Cancellations

  • Members must notify Workshop17 and/or TruMD of any changes, cancellations, or family member removals in writing. Changes may only take effect in the next billing cycle, depending on the date on which the request is received for processing. Members are encouraged to ensure that they inform their employers, when they wish themselves and or their family members to be included, to facilitate monthly payments by their employers.

12. No Sharing of Access

  • TruMD access is only available to registered members and approved family members. Members may not share their access with unregistered individuals.

13. Emergency Care

  • TruMD is not an emergency medical service. In the case of a medical emergency, members must contact emergency medical services or go to the nearest emergency healthcare facility.

14. Service Availability

  • TruMD services are available during the approved operating hours communicated to members. Service availability may be subject to system availability, clinical capacity, and operational requirements.

15. Amendments to Terms

  • TruMD and Workshop17 reserve the right to update these terms and conditions where necessary. Members will be notified of material changes where applicable.
