Job brief
Workshop17 is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Location Manager to lead our Muizenberg workspace. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, community building, operational excellence, and business growth.
You will take full ownership of the location, ensuring an exceptional member experience while driving occupancy, revenue, team performance, and operational efficiency. As the face of the location, you'll create a thriving community and maintain the high standards Workshop17 is known for.
Given Muizenberg's unique coastal setting, you'll also oversee our surf-concierge offering, ensuring it enhances the overall member experience
The Location Manager is supported by the on-site team and Workshop17 Head Office functions, including Finance, HR, Marketing, and ICT.

Ideal Qualifications/Experience
3–5 years' management experience in hospitality, coworking, property, or a customer-focused environment.
Proven leadership and people management skills.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Experience managing operations, facilities, and service delivery.
Sales and business development experience with a focus on occupancy and growth.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable using CRM, financial, and operational systems.
An appreciation for the surf and coastal lifestyle is advantageous.
