3. Access and Arrival
Access to the building is only allowed from 08:00 on
each match day, as a bomb sweep needs to take place.
Members enter the precinct via Gate 25 (Campground Road, next to the Kelvin Grove entrance).
Security will set up a match day scanner for facial recognition on arrival. Only registered members will be let through.
Security will check bags for alcohol and sharp objects.
Main Gate: Gate 24 and all other entrances will be closed off.
Security will direct members along the marked ground-floor route.
No vehicles may enter NCG on match days.
4. Parking
Parking tickets for Groote Schuur High School (Upper Field parking)
will only be provided to monthly parkers.
All other members must park at Groote Schuur School (Palmyra Road entrance) and pay cash.
5. Deliveries
• No deliveries will be allowed on match days. Members should plan ahead.
• Parcels may be collected outside the stadium at Gate 24.
6. Food and Beverage
The North Pavilion Stereo Café will be closed.
Stereo will only operate from the Snakepit building, by reception.
Pre-orders are vital so that your food can be delivered into the building.
Please don't get stuck: deliveries will not be allowed to enter the stadium.
The Wicket Brewer and 1889 Eatery will not serve sit-down to non-ticket holders.
Members may arrange delivery directly with these vendors.
7. Offices and Security
• SAPS will inspect private offices for explosives and liquor.
• All liquor must be removed from the site, or it will be confiscated by SAPS.
8. Match Day Conduct
• Newlands members take preference, due to precinct restrictions.
• No trial days, walkthroughs or external bookings on match days.
• No recreational viewing of the match unless you are a ticket holder.
• No live streaming or recording of the match.
• No ambush marketing or advertising near windows.
• Professional conduct is required throughout the day.
